Good catalog templates and themes are sometimes hard to find. When I print catalogs for my projects or business campaigns, I usually want to have catalog templates that are easy to customize and very useful for different projects. In my experience there are three major characteristics that make a catalog template good. These properties comprise my favorite types of catalog templates.

my favorate types of catalog templates

Easy to open file format – The best catalog templates in my book should always have an easy to open file format. This means that the template can be opened in a lot of desktop publishing software. A template isn’t really very useful if it can only be used by one program. Moreover it isn’t really practical if the template uses a file format that is made in an obscure and unpopular program. So if you are trying to find the best catalog template, choose a template that comes in a popular file format. Always aim for an image file format if you can, like a JPG or similar file. Barring that, you can also try templates that are used by popular image editing applications like Photoshop documents.

Very adjustable elements – Another good quality of useful catalog templates are adjustable elements. These adjustable elements can really give you the design flexibility that you need to customize the catalog template for your use. These templates should let you change the objects, text and images inside it to fit your own taste. Those elements typically should be in their own design layer or element for easy editing. Templates like this are usually saved in an application file format so that you can edit them using a specific application or software. This type is the best template that you can use if you want full control of your catalog design.

Simple designs – Finally, good catalog templates should also come in simple but functional designs. Catalog templates should be simple because they are only guides to what the whole catalog design must become. I find that catalog templates with too many elements can really clutter up the design process. Setting them up for printing can actually take more time that it should need to do it. Since it is a template, it should really save you time in making catalog designs and not the other way around. So the best templates really are the ones with simple a straightforward designs. Try to look for templates like that as you pick your catalog templates.

catalog templates

Those are my favorite types of catalog templates. Some catalog templates can display only 1 of the above characteristics, while others can have all three types. If you can, try always to pick the one that has all three characteristics combined. That kind of catalog template will always leave you with a good experience when printing your catalogs.

Best Solo PvM Template - Asheron’s Call Forums

In my very limited AC experience (I have never played a mage past 60 or a melee past 100) I have found that my favorite solo PvM template is the life spec archer. I currently play a lvl 235 bow, melee, life spec on VT and love him. There is not a whole lot of content I … I would say melee d mage, but really if you know what you’re doing and good with whatever character you play, you can probably solo anything that isn’t specifically designed against your character type.

I’d have to say probably my favorite place right now for inspiration is ffffound.com. It’s not really web design exactly but it’s a lot of really cool imagery, a lot of cool colors, shapes and stuff like that. … The thing that’s really easy to look at and copy are pixels, color combinations and type. I think it’s really hard to look at a website as a writing project because as a designer, we have all these magic tricks we can do with our CSS and our HTML and everything.
